You know I love him as a composer, but the singing, not so much.
Have you heard Holden they are like a giant french stereotype. And also, good.

The same here, he is not much of a singer though one hell of a composer! But I love the lyrics and the video of this song, that's why I posted it!

Holden are like you said the typical French pop band, aside from a couple of songs when I am in the mood "ce que je suis is nice", I wouldn't listen to them! I have to admit I am a sucker for oldies though! Edith Piaf is my all time favorite French singer! :)

Yeah it's a good song, but I know I've heard him sing better too.

I was going through a phase a couple of months ago of just listening to piaf, I still haven't seen that movie about her, I should get on that.

You definitely need to watch that movie, it's stunning!!! I have some records for Piaf that sound exactly like they are coming from a gramophone! Brings back memories, I tell you! :)

By the way, I am reading a book now for Hady Alalawi, called "Almostatref Algadeed", sorry for the francoarab, but do you know it?! It is a great book, you should get it if you don't have it! :)
